 The book My Imperfect love story is written by Shubhashish Kerketta. The book contains twentyeight chapters each and every chapters are full of enjoyment. The main protagonist of the story are Amyra and Shashank.

 Shashank was older but flawless and by profession he is a professor in St. Agnes College, Ranch. Many girls have crush upon him and in those there was Amyra too. 

Where as Amyra is a soft and simple girl who is studying in the college. She also has a crush upon professor Shashank from the time when she saw him. At present she is in St. Agnes College, Bangalore. Ranchi is her home she has stepped into her sweet home just a few hours ago, to be with her mom for New Year's Eve.

The story started off one day before New year (31st December 2018) Amyra was sitting alone in her room and was watching all the preparations that was going on for the New year through her window. It was like few minutes left for the New year to begin as soon as the clock strikes 12 everyone started howling like anything then suddenly her mother came inside and wished her Happy New Year. Amyra asked her mother that why is she awake till now then she told that I wanted to be the first one to wish you. After that everyone wished her and her late night calls kept on going with her friends till they give up. Amyra had two great friends since her childhood one Priyanka and Olive. They both were and will remain her bestie forever.

 One day it was Amyra's  birthday everyone wished her including her aunt and uncle to whom she always cursed because after her father passed away the both had planned to rob them. She reached her college and was attending her first class in which professor Shashank was taking attendance and he called out her name twice but she was in her dreams then Olive pinched her and told that she missed her attendance after all the attendance were take at last she shouted and told roll number 31 present sir. Professor Shashank asked in which dreams were you lost please share with all of us. After the 40 minutes class was over professor told to Army meet me in staff room. She did as he said when she reached the staff room and knocked at the door and the professor allowed her in and wished her Happy Birthday and gave her a chocolate at first she refused to take but later on the professor insisted her to take and she thanked him for the chocolate and asked him that from where did he came to know that today was her birthday? Then he mentioned that she had sent him a friend request in Facebook few days ago. She thanked him and started running towards her classroom for her next class because she had only 3 minutes left. In the evening she celebrated her birthday with her friends and relatives and end up having peas pulao and chicken curry. It was like a big birthday blast for her enjoyed the foods and the games and a lot more. At night she was about to sleep then suddenly her phone buzzed she started to search her phone and at last found it under her blanket. It was showing a message received from professor Shashank asking her how was her birthday party went she was amazed after seeing this message and started refreshing the screen to ensure that the sender was right. Her all sleepyness washed away. She started chatting with him and at last of the chat the professor asked for a treat from her and she said yes. They planned the venue and the timings everything was set as per plan.
